Focus On Flowers
In the dog days of summer, walking through the garden is certainly preferable to working in it.
In July Americans celebrate Independence Day and the French celebrate Bastille Day so it seems appropriate to think about red, white and blue flowers.
There are many members of the genus "Astilbe" that can provide white, pink and reddish-pink blooms in shade, or sun, if they have ample moisture.
