Star Gazing

Here's a hint: You may find the answer by looking up!

This selection is taken from a work the composer considered a complete set. His collection of 7 was conspicuously missing one member of the group. A few years later there were nine of them, but now there’s only eight again. Each has its own character, and this one is the most jovial member of the high-flying team. At least now the musical collection is more accurate!
