It’s A Mystery!

Written at the beginning of this French composer’s lengthy residency in England, this work’s grotesquely humorous quality has endeared it to many listeners. It became most famous as the theme song to a popular British and American television show. The show presented a different mystery every week, each episode introduced by the macabre humor of the host, a popular film director.
