Elfman: Nightmare Before Christmas, Oogie Boogie Song

In this macabre children's film, a well-meaning skeleton from the Land of Halloween discovers the Land of Christmas. Impressed by his find, he tries to merge the two holidays with horrific results! Shot entirely in stop-motion, "Nightmare" was conceived by Tim Burton and brought to the screen by animation pioneer Henry Senelick. It also featured music by up-and-coming film composer Danny Elfman. Before Elfman had made his reputation by collaborating with Burton in the late 1980s, he was known to fans of New Wave rock as the front man for the band Oingo Boingo.
