Senate candidates have a rough economy to deal with.

The race at the top of the Indiana ballot this election will be the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Evan Bayh. The candidates who want to replace him have both served in Congress before: current U.S. Representative Democrat Brad Ellsworth, and the man who preceded Bayh, former U.S. Senator Republican Dan Coats. Indiana Public Broadcasting is bringing you a series of reports on where the two stand on top issues. First up: the economy and jobs in a report from Marianne Holland.
