Robbins wins Clerk office.
Democrat Linda Robbins has defeated Republican Candi Haley in the race for Monroe County Clerk. Robbins garnered about 1800 more votes than her opponent and says she hopes to move the office ahead after taking office.
“First thing I want to do,” Robbins says, “is reassure all my employees that I’m going to work with them to move this office ahead.”
Robbins beat Haley 53% to 47%.
