- 1997, switched careers to accept a position in value added agriculture marketing at the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, eventually becoming Deputy Executive Director of Marketing
- Served on the Ag Development Board
- 2006, put my value added marketing ideas into practice as the Resource and Nutrition Manager at a large diversified farm.
- Served as Business Development Coordinator for Miles Farm Supply
- Served on Farm Bureau, the Meat Export Federation and Partners for Family Farms
- Present position with Purdue University as Executive Administrator for the Indiana State Egg Board, an industry-funded agency implementing the state’s egg laws.
