The chicken products were supposed to be fully cooked. The company thinks the chicken missed the final cooking before packaging.
Wisconsin firm Roundy’s Supermarkets Inc. recalled 360 pounds of chicken products because of the possibility of being undercooked last Wednesday.
The error was brought to the company’s attention by a consumer who complained their fully-cooked chicken wasn’t.
No illnesses related to the recall have been reported.
The product in question is five pound cases of “Chef’s Collection Chicken Milanese Breast,” item code “037496″ and lot code “171589-2561.”
