Pets ALIVE is dedicated to ending pet over-population in South-Central Indiana through low-cost spay / neuter services for cats and dogs. Since opening in March 2005, the Pets ALIVE Spay/Neuter Clinic staff has performed nearly 30,000 sterilization surgeries, thereby preventing the birth of thousands of unwanted litters of kittens and puppies. <itunes:summary>Hoosier Hills Food Bank collects, stores, and distributes nutritious food products to non-profit organizations, which provide free feeding programs that serve both ill and needy families and individuals in Monroe, Martin, Owen, Orange, Brown, and Lawrence Counties in Central Indiana.

Food Banks are the main collectors of donated food in a community, working with both individuals and community groups on food drives, and being the primary contact to deal with food manufacturers and distributors, gleaning products in quantities that would overwhelm most individual charities.

Food banks then make their collected inventory available to local hunger-related charities. Hoosier Hill Food Bank works to educate the community about hunger and poverty issues and advocate for the hungry with local and national lawmakers.</itunes:summary>
