Indiana Universityrsquo;s Lilly Library is celebrating 50 years in 2010.nbsp; Wersquo;re off to explore that gem of the IU-Bloomington campus, where rare books are anything but hands-off, and where you bound to discover something unexpected.

As part of the tour wersquo;ll find out how nearly 30,000 puzzles made their way from California to the Lilly with the Curator of Puzzles, Jillian Hinchliffe .

And, wersquo;ll explore the American obsession with the automobile at an exhibition the Lilly held last summer.nbsp; Artworks' David Brent Johnson visited the ldquo; Are We There Yetrdquo; and took a look at the catalogues that had early car enthusiasts drooling.

Come along with us as we toast half a century at IUrsquo;s Lilly Library, this week on Artworks.</itunes:summary>

People all over have been struggling to find the means to pay for necessities like a place to live, a way to get around, educationhellip; you name it. Businesses, too, are having a hard time, and the arts sector is no different.

Back in the fall we talked to some local artists, gallery owners and organizers to try find out how they were being affected and what they were doing to turn things around or just break even. We asked the question, ldquo;can the arts act as a stimulus?rdquo;</itunes:summary>
