The IU First Nations Educational and Culture Center hopes to make the annual traditional powwow the biggest fall powwow in the region.

Indiana University’s First Nations Educational and Cultural Center hosts the 2nd Annual Traditional Powwow, November 3 and 4, 2012. The powwow kicks off a month of activities during National American Indiana Heritage Month. In the studio with us are the FNECC’s Director and two of the students to tell us what to expect over the weekend.

Also on the program, Mia Partlow visits a rehearsal of the African American Dance Company in anticipation of their upcoming performance. And we’ll speak with the newly-appointed director of the Jacobs School’s Contemporary Vocal Ensemble, Dominic DiOrio.
