Terre Haute's Sheldon Swope Art Museum

Coming up on Artworks, we help Terre Haute’s Swope Art Museum mark the big 7-0. Yaël Ksander speaks with Marianne Richter, the Swope’s executive director, and Harriet McNeal a long-time member of the Swope’s Board of Overseers. They talk about how this collection of American art came to exist in a time with European art was all the rage.

Also on the program, David Wood talks with IU Opera Theater’s Vincent Liotta about the upcoming production of The Merry Widow.
