The White Lightning Boys

We’ll get toe-tapping with members of the White Lightning Boys as they perform some of their flavor of bluegrass in the studio.

The Upland Brewing Company opens up its parking lot stage on Friday, August 31st for the Hillybilly Haiku – a concert of Americana Music in support of the Sycamore Land Trust. This year’s headliner is the Austin, Texas based band Okkervil River. And also on the ticket are our guests on Artworks, the White Lightning Boys. They brought along their instruments for a talk with WFIU’s own Annie Corrigan.

And also on program, Yael Ksander talks with representational artists Mark Ratzlaff. And the Spoken Word Stage returns for a second year at the Fourth Street Festival of the Arts & Crafts.
