On this week’s episode we’re talking to PhD students Russell Schaeffer and Laura Ivins-Hulley about the Underground Film Series. Russell and Laura programmed the series with their collaborators and they tell us all about their selections.

In What Have You Seen Lately, Jason is talking about Killing Them Softly and Mud, while Andy is discussing The Flat and Hell Baby. We also have a group discussion about Much Ado About Nothing.

We then start talking about the Underground series for Fall 2013. Find out what films are playing, when they’re playing, why they’re important, and which films you can take the kids to.
