Episode 58 – Exploring The Grindhouse Series

On this weeks episode, we invite grad student David Church to talk about the upcoming Grindhouse series at the Cinema. There will be 5 films playing in the series, and it starts on November 17th with Deep Red.

We start out with What Have You Seen Lately. Jason starts out with a discussion of Altered States and Psycho, both at the Cinema. Andy talks about the recent Comic Book Series at the Cinema. Find out which film he absolutely hated on the podcast.

Then David starts in on a very interesting discussion of each of the films in the Grindhouse series, and he and Andy also discuss how the films were discovered in the Kinsey collections. And he explains the strange phenomena of ‘Bruce-spoitation’.
