Indiana University President Michael McRobbie and IU Jazz Legend and Professor David Baker sat in with host Joe Bourne on Just You & Me on Friday, April 24th.

Indiana University President Michael McRobbie and IU Jazz Legend and Professor David Baker sat in with host Joe Bourne on Just You & Me on Friday, April 24th.

They had a free-wheeling jam session of music and commentary with a little music from Miles Davis, a few David Baker tunes, and some play by Carla Bley.

Joe Bourne

Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Joe Bourne moved to Bloomington in 1984 to work at WFIU. As Jazz Director, Joe produces and hosts Just You & Me, and interviews local and national guests for the broadcast. In addition, he has produced jazz specials devoted to the lives and music of Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong, and other jazz greats. In his free time, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and family, going to car shows, and listening to music.
