Deniz Uzun and Veronica Jensen share the role of Rossini’s wily heroine Isabella. In our conversation Jensen comments on how a mezzo’s roles playing boys can help in the adventurous part of Isabella and Uzun emphasizes the ease that she finds in singing the part.
