Join us as we journey to the past in search of Christmas.

Friday, December 25th at 10 a.m.

Celebrate Christmas with music that has told the story for ages.

From the studios of WFIU, the producers of Harmonia, join host Angela Mariani for an hour of early music which invokes the spirit of the season.

We’ll hear music of the season from the distant past and through the ages, both sublime, and earthly.  Across time and place, across beliefs and traditions, with selections from Handel’s Messiah, carols of the Renaissance and Middle Ages, and modern compositions inspired by the songs of centuries past.

Join us as we journey to the past this Christmas for music both ancient and new.
