Creating Independence with Children’s Music

Dr. Brent Gault is the program director of the Indiana University Children’s Choir. Members of the IUCC be taking the stage with the IU Opera Theatre in Massenet’s “Cendrillon” beginning this Friday, February 6th. And in April the choir has been invited to perform Bach’s “St. Matthew Passion” with the Bloomington Chamber Singers and Benjamin Britten’s “War Requiem” with the IU Choral Department.  WFIU’s David Wood has more with Dr. Gault.

Listen to George Walker’s interview with Chuck Hudson, the director of “Cendrillon.”

I have an almost 12-year-old granddaughter who is a member of the IU Children’s Choir. I write this to you on June 20, 2009. She will be 12 this coming September 8. When will the Children’s Choir next be performing? I would like to surprise my granddaughter and just show up for one of her concerts.

    Thank you for your time.
