Brewing a Different Kind of Cafe at Rachael’s

With world-wide chains dominating the scene, you would think that the local coffee shop was going the way of the do-do. But in many communities it has become an outlet for public discourse, interaction, and expression. That was one of the things Rachael Jones counted on when she started work on her downtown Bloomington location.

Cliff Gagliardo

Born in Oxnard, California, Clifford came to Bloomington in 2005. Currently, Clifford is a student at the Jacobs School of Music, studying music composition. He joined WFIU in May 2007, working as an announcer, broadcast assistant, and Ether Game scriptwriter. Clifford has a broad set of interests, including literature, art, philosophy and film.
