Most people endure acne at some point, and can't wait to be rid of the combination of whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, and pustules.
You know how Santa Claus is always depicted with rosy red cheeks? We have a theory that Mr. Claus has the skin condition, rosacea. Rosacea is a skin condition affecting about 14 million adults in the United States. Learn more on this Moment of Science.
Ironically, the general covering of our bodies in hair — what we call “fur” on other animals — is at the root of our problem with acne.
