A Moment of Science
Before about 360 million years ago, no vertebrates had limbs. They all shared the same fish-like body shape. But around that time something exciting happened.
The question is, do animals do things for other animals without receiving any reward, including food, love, attention?
It may come as a surprise if I told you that scientists have recently made discoveries that suggest baboons are capable of abstract thought. You probably thought that only apes, the actual evolutionary predecessors of humans, could think abstractly.
