Believe it or not, the Australian burrowing cockroach, also known as the rhinoceros cockroach, is one of Australia's most popular pets.
It may not have occurred in your neck of the woods, but all across the globe people are reporting that small animals are falling from the sky!
The nutritious skin is where a lot of the vitamins are. Important nutrients such as fiber, calcium, iron, and vitamin C are found in the skin. However, you probably didn’t know that potato skins contain poison.
The ultraviolet light is supposed to attract mosquitoes against an electrified grid, which then zaps them. Well, it’s true that plenty of mosquitoes are attracted into your backyard by the light, but once the mosquitoes catch a whiff of you, they ignore the light completely.
Almost all mammals, in fact, have REM sleep; birds do too, although only in the early parts of their lives. It seems that sleep and REM are required by a particularly complex kind of brain.
