The "Turing test" has been making headlines thanks to a field you might not expect: video games.
If a car is about to hit something, it's not capable of slowing down or stopping all by itself. That might change soon, though.
In the middle of the last century, British mathematician Alan Turing proposed the following test for determining whether a computer could think...on its own!
