Kids of all ages are invited to attend, and bring their friends, to WTIU Kids Day at the Monroe County Fair on Tuesday, July 26.
We’ll be putting on a show called Friday Zone Live in the Draper-Earles Auditorium beginning at 2 p.m. This interactive hour-long show takes place in air-conditioned comfort and will feature musical entertainment, science experiments, and an all-around good time.
Sid the Science Kid will be on hand to help us celebrate.
Throughout the day and into the night, the WTIU village will be located in the grass area outside the Auditorium. We’ll have a green screen to show some television techniques. We’ll also have an area where kids can read a book, watch a show, or do some fun activities.
And if that were not enough, we’ll have some face painting, a balloon and magic show, and much, much more. We hope to see you there.
