The WFIU-WTIU Newsroom finished its first Tell Us Your Story community event at the Bloomington Farmers’ Market on Saturday, August 18.
This was just the first of a series of events in which our news team – including such hosts as Stan Jastrzebski and Joe Hren, and StateImpact Indiana reporter Kyle Stokes – wait in a booth to hear your ideas about which community issues our newsroom should be bringing to light. Visitors can remain anonymous or can record their questions and comments on the audio and video equipment we have available. Those recordings, in turn, might show up on one of our news programs!
Numerous people also used the first Bloomington Tell Us Your Story event as an occasion to find out about and sign up for our new daily news email update, available online here. If you missed the Farmers’ Market event, then stay tuned to hear about more appearances as soon as they are scheduled. We hope to connect with you next time.
Don’t forget, you can always leave a news tip or story idea for us here.
