Earth Eats Blogger (Intern; Continuous Opening)
WFIU’s program Earth Eats is a weekly podcast, public radio program and blog bringing you the freshest news and recipes inspired by local food and sustainable agriculture. Earth Eats is looking for bloggers to gather relevant news from around the web, making the Earth Eats blog a destination for Indiana residents (and beyond) looking to educate themselves about sustainable agriculture. Blog posts feature timely news (recent legislation concerning food safety, how the economy effects small farmers, etc) to recipes using seasonal, local foods, and more.
Earth Eats reporters/bloggers should be exceptional writers, able to work independently and efficiently, with an interest in local food and sustainable agriculture. The ideal candidate will be available approximately 5-8 hours per week.
