The Be More Awards honor and applaud the outstanding — but often unrecognized — efforts of our community volunteers.
The 2012 Be More Awards were presented on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at The Buskirk-Chumley Theater in Bloomington. The goal of the Awards is to honor and applaud the outstanding — but often unrecognized — efforts of our community volunteers. The ceremony was hosted by Joe Hren, co-host of WTIU’s The Weekly Special, and Bet Savich, Coordinator, City of Bloomington Volunteer Network.
Bloomington Mayor Mark Kruzan and Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County Board Member MaryFrances McCourt presented each recipient with their Award and a $500 grant for the non-profit organization represented by each winner.
